GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS, POLICIES AND DISPATCH INFORMATION


Please read the service & delivery terms information below, especially if you're paying for next day delivery (UK) and International postage or see our frequently asked questions page via link: www.ediblecakephotos.co.uk/faqs.html to get answers & helpful information you may require even after you have made a purchase. Kindly contact us via email first, if there is any issue e.g delays etc with your order so that we can give you an update.


 


Our terms & conditons are NOT limited to those stated below and may be subject to change without prior notice.
Kindly read through them carefully before proceeding to make payment.

Part 1a: We offer a complimentary, no rush postage option (UK only) and it's avialable on all orders of £3.99 or more. All orders are processed within 24 hours of the order being placed (i.e within 1 working day, if bought before 9pm on the day of purchase), or same day** where possible.
Any orders placed on a Friday & over the weekend may not be posted until the following Monday (excluding bank holidays).

We may not be able to dispatch your order within this time frame if:
i - It is purchased after 9pm on the day of purchase (Mon. to Thu.). You can email us to confirm if this is the case
ii - There is an issue with your order e.g you have not sent us the image(s) to print, you didn't provide ALL necessary information ....to avoid issues with your order etc
iii - You have made a bulk purchase which may require much more time to process
iv - If we have announced any technical or maintenance schedule which will cause delays to our dispatch timeframe

Part 1b: All toppers will be sent via Royal mail and should arrive within 2-5 working days within the UK. This however isn't guaranteed and is only an estimate that falls within the usual delivery timescales. We have absolutely no control over the actual delivery schedule of Royal mail as you would appreciate. Sometimes although rarely, post may be delayed or held at the sorting office and can take a little longer to arrive.
So, kindly order in plenty of time for your item(s) to arrive. Our toppers have a long shelf life.

Part 1c: All toppers will be packaged in zip lock bags and placed in A4 or A5 'Please Do Not Bend' cardboard envelopes to ensure freshness, protect them and greatly reduce any chance of damage during transit.
Ribbons may be placed directly in the envelope and shipped if bought alone.

Part 2: PLEASE NOTE: If the topper size is not selected or provided (as the case may be by you) to required size, the default size (1.5" for cupakes, 3.7 x 2.4" for currency notes or A4 for large sizes i.e rectangle, square or round toppers) will be printed and sent out onceto avoid delays, we've made reasonable effort to contact you.

This can't be changed once your item(s) has been printed. Following this, the automated confirmation email is sent & we dispatch item(s). Also, if we don't receive the image(s) you would like printed on the topper immediately after purchase, we will email you via the email address linked to your Paypal account & or the email you provided during checkout to remind you to send them immediately so as to avoid delays to dispatching your item(s). Kindly check these emails for any urgent messages from us.

Toppers are printed on full topper sheets and are NOT pre-cut, except where you pay for the optional pre-cut service. Where this is added to basket and paid for, any 2.13" will be pre-cut to 2.0" i.e the selected pre-cut size overules the previously selected topper size when added to basket.

This is currently the largest available size for cupcakes. See our FAQ's page for more explanation.

Colours may vary slightly i.e may be darker or lighter, from the images shown due to the printing process and or due to the medium on which they are being printed.

Where applicable, you are confirming to us that you have permission or the right to use any image(s) you send to us to print on your topper(s) by accepting our T's & C's.

 


Part 3: WE ARE ONLY COVERED TO SEND ITEMS TO THE PAYPAL REGISTERED ADDRESS SENT TO US SO, IT'S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE ALL DELIVERY/SECONDARY ADDRESS(ES) ARE REGISTERED ON YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT & YOU SELECT WHICH ADDRESS YOU WANT YOUR ITEM(s) SENT TO.


Sub a: 99% of our UK customers will attest to receiving their items within 1 - 3 days of making a purchase but in the unlikely event items don't arrive on time, you must wait 15 working days before claiming on a missing item, and 20 working days for International orders. It is only after this timeframe that Royal mail will consider it as missing and we can file a claim and send out a replacement or refund.

Standard delivery and airmail only includes £20 insurance cover, so if you order is over £20 in value then we strongly recommend you send your order with a special delivery option which includes up tp £500 insurance cover.


Part 4: Once your payment confirmation has been received, we will dispatch your order within 1 working day. Please allow 1 day for ALL orders to be printed and dispatched, irrespective of delivery service option selected (including our guaranteed next day service).
Orders which have been placed on Friday and over the weekend MAY NOT be dispatched until the following Monday (excluding bank holidays). Consider paying for next day service if you need the item(s) urgently.
The complimentary shipping option may not be quick enough if item(s) is required quickly.
Items should arrive within the following timescales. However we can NOT guarantee this on behalf of Royal mail. Therefore, kindly allow plenty of time for delivery.

You should receive a dispatch confirmation email once your item(s) has been printed and dispatched.***

If multiple items are purchased, we may decide to split them into multiple packages or ship them together if it makes business sense to do so.

If you haven't received your item(s) within the timescales stated below, kindly contact us 1st to get an update before contacting Paypal. We will be able to provide you with a certificate of posting and possibly look into the cause of the delay.

UK Standard Free, No Rush Delivery: up to 5 days
Sent via Royal mail service and should arrive within 3-5 working days. Please, allow for more time where bank holidays and or weekends are within this timeframe. This delivery option cannot be tracked.
If you don't have a postcode them you must select international as your postage option and choose your location when you checkout . This delivery timescale also applies to 2nd class delivery.

UK First Class Delivery 1-3 days
Sent via Royal mail standard 1st class service should arrive within 1-3working days. Please, allow for more time where bank holidays and or weekends are within this timeframe. This delivery option can also not be tracked.
If you don't have a postcode then you must select international as your postage option and choose your location when you checkout.

UK Signed For Delivery 1-3 days For those requiring item to be handed to a person and signed for & not just put through the post box, to ensure receipt. This should arrive within 1-4 working days.
Please, allow for more time where bank holidays and or weekends are within this timeframe. This delivery option can be tracked.

Next Day (Saturday) Delivery - from £14. You must order before 9pm on Thursday for your order to be dispatched the next working day Friday, to arrive on Saturday (between 8am -1pm). Cost may increase, depending on the weight of your final order.
Tracking available and insured up to £500.

Next Day Delivery - from £7.00, Mon. - Thu. delivery (for Friday delivery, item(s) must be purchased by Wednesday NOT Thursday.
We will not dispatch on the same day of purchase as we require 1 day to process orders. Cost may increase, depending on the weight of your final order.
You must order before 9pm for your order to be dispatched the next working day & then arrive the day after that.
This delivery option does not include weekends or bank holidays. Your order will arrive 1 working day after that. So for example, if you order before 9pm on Monday, your order will be dispatched the following day (Tuesday) and arrives on Wednesday by 1pm.
This option is also for Urgent and High Value orders and is insured up to £500.
Tracking is available.

If this option is purchased on a Friday, it will not be sent until Monday to arrive on Tuesday.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Kindly contact us before purchase if you're selecting this delivery option and require the item(s) delivered the next day after purchase.This is simply because we normally require 1 day to process all orders but may be able to accomodate and expedite your order.
If not, it would be sent by next day service the following day after purchase, not on the same day.

Europe/International Standard Delivery (7-12 working days) - from £3.49, increasing to a limit depending on your final order.
These delivery timescales are only estimates. European deliveries may take less time & USA deliveries may take as many days.
Orders dispatched to Europe/USA are sent via Royal mail, except parcels which are sent via Parcelforce. (There is a maximum weight for the Royal mail service of 2kg and the dimensions of the box can not add up to more than 90cm i.e Height + Length + Width).
We will contact you if this happens and your order has to be sent via Parcelforce.

Europe/International Tracked Delivery (5 to 7 working days) - starts from £10.50, and then increases to a limit, depending on weight your final order. You will receive a tracking code & link to track your item(s) for peace of mind. Orders are sent via Royal mail, except parcels which are sent via Parcelforce. (Maximum weight & package height restrictions also apply).

Delivery timescales can be up to those stated above, but can sometimes be more or less. They are based on working days so does not include weekends and public holidays.

 

In addition, the:

**Paid Pre-cut Service ONLY** - is NOT intended as a postage option even though its found under postage at checkout.
We have provided it there for the benefit of customers who buy toppers, complete checkout and then later decide they want it pre-cut. Our website is set up to select a postage option for all products and this option allows us bypass that so that the only charge is for the service.
Buying a topper and selecting this option with the hope of getting them sent free where paying for postage is required, will only delay processing your order as we will not do so. We have clearly stated it is NOT FOR FREE POSTAGE.

RETURNS POLICY

All our edible topper items are food products which have been personalised and printed to your specifications. Hence, we DO NOT accept returns due to health and safety reasons, and also as they can't safely be sold on to other customers.

However, in the unlikely event that we print and send out the wrong thing, then a replacement will be sent out and we will make arrangents to have the wrong item returned to us unused and as sent to you.

You must let us know within 24hrs of receiving it for us to honour the claim and we may ask for Royal mail/post mark date stamp as proof of this. This does not affect your statutory rights.
